Alison Fosbery, MA RP
I started my career in the mental health field working with children with various learning differences and autism spectrum disorders. I then transitioned to a hospital setting where I supported and intervened in the Eating Disorders program. I enjoyed working with those with a wide rage of mental health challenges.
Over the course of my thirteen year career, I realized that I was mostly passionate about working with women. I noticed that women today are not only dealing with intense stress and anxiety, but they are also faced with the added pressures of social media, dating apps, body image, and work-life balance.
My methods include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, and Positive Psychotherapy.
I have an undergraduate degree in psychology, and a master's degree in Mental Health Counselling. I am a certified Positive Psychotherapy Practitioner. I am a registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
