Alison Fosbery, MA RP
I started my career in the mental health field working with people with severe learning difficulties and autism spectrum disorders. I have also worked in a hospital setting as an eating disorder therapist. I supported and intervened on both an inpatient and outpatient basis, and enjoyed working with those with various mental health challenges.
Over the course of my thirteen year career, I realized that I was mostly passionate about working with millennial females. I noticed that women today were not only dealing with general stress and anxiety, but they were also faced with the added pressures of social media and dating apps.
My methods include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, and Positive Psychotherapy.
I have an undergraduate degree in psychology, and a master's degree in Mental Health Counselling. I am a certified Positive Psychotherapy Practitioner. I am a registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
